Line Repair Service

Expert Diagnosis and Repair for Critical Utility Lines

A failure in your main Sewer or Water Line is a serious emergency. Whether you’re dealing with sewage backups, foul odors, sudden drops in water pressure, or unexplained wet spots in your yard, Access Plumbing provides rapid, expert Line Repair Service. We utilize advanced video inspection and diagnostic tools to pinpoint the exact location and cause of the damage (e.g., tree root intrusion, corrosion, or ground shifting). We offer both traditional trenching repair and modern, minimally invasive trenchless solutions to restore your property’s vital plumbing infrastructure quickly and efficiently.

Trenchless Technology: Repairing Lines Without Destroying Your Landscape

Repairing damaged sewer or water main lines used to mean significant excavation and landscape destruction. Access Plumbing minimizes disruption by specializing in modern, non-invasive Trenchless Repair techniques alongside traditional repair methods.

Advanced Diagnostic Process: Before any digging, we use high-resolution video camera inspections to visually assess the pipe’s condition (identifying cracks, blockages, or breaks) and electronic pipe locating equipment to map the line’s path and depth. This precision saves time and money.

Trenchless Pipe Lining (Cured-In-Place Pipe – CIPP): This method involves inserting a resin-coated liner into the existing damaged pipe. The liner is then cured (hardened) into place, creating a durable, seamless “pipe within a pipe.” This technique is ideal for repairing cracks, minor breaks, and restoring structural integrity without requiring extensive digging.

Trenchless Pipe Bursting: For severely damaged or collapsed sewer lines, pipe bursting is the solution. This method involves pulling a new pipe through the path of the old pipe while simultaneously breaking the old pipe apart. It requires minimal access points (small pits at the start and end of the run) and replaces the entire line with a brand-new pipe material.

Traditional Excavation: For short, shallow repairs or cases where trenchless methods are not feasible (e.g., collapsed lines with major offsets or complex connections), we perform targeted, professional excavation. Our team handles all necessary permits and ensures the repair meets all municipal codes before backfilling and site restoration.

Trust Access Plumbing to diagnose and implement the most efficient, cost-effective, and least disruptive solution for your critical line repairs.

Faq Questions

What are the common signs of a main sewer line break?

Signs include multiple backed-up fixtures (toilets, tubs), gurgling noises from drains, persistent sewage odors, or sudden patches of lush, green grass or pooling water in the yard near the sewer line path.

Trenchless repair (Lining or Bursting) is the key benefit. It minimizes yard and landscape destruction by avoiding extensive digging, reduces repair time, and often results in a more cost-effective and durable solution for the long term.

We use high-resolution video camera inspections to visually identify the issue (e.g., root intrusion or crack) and electronic pipe locating equipment to accurately map the depth and exact location of the damage from above ground.

Trenchless repairs, particularly CIPP (Cured-In-Place Pipe) lining, are extremely durable and can often extend the life of the sewer line by 50 years or more, as the new internal liner is resistant to root intrusion and corrosion.

For significant root intrusion, we first use hydro-jetting to cut through the roots and clear the blockage. After clearing, we use video inspection to determine the extent of the damage and then recommend either CIPP lining or pipe bursting for permanent repair.
